You will manage relational databases and caching layers, ensuring they are safe, scalable, and easy for product teams to use. As a technical leader, you will set standards for automation, observability, and disaster recovery while mentoring other engineers.
What you'll do
- Own reliability of caching layers including capacity planning and failover strategies
- Participate in on-call rotation and act as escalation point for data incidents
- Manage database infrastructure as code using Terraform modules
