You will own the technical reliability of marketing integrations within the Acorns mobile apps. Working across Mobile, Data, and Marketing teams, you will implement SDKs, debug tracking issues, and validate that critical events reach their destinations with accurate data.
What you'll do
- Implement and debug attribution, analytics, and engagement SDKs in mobile apps
- Contribute code for event tracking, identity handling, consent, and deep linking
- Configure mobile and web attribution including fraud filtering and SKAdNetwork
- Build advertising integrations such as conversion APIs and affiliate postbacks
- Maintain documented definitions for marketing events and identity parameters
- Validate event payloads and automate testing for critical marketing flows
- Partner with Data Engineering to deliver conversion events via reverse ETL
What you'll need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with mobile development focus
- Strong production experience in Swift, Kotlin, and Flutter
- Hands-on experience implementing mobile attribution or analytics SDKs
- Knowledge of app lifecycle, SDK initialization, and deep linking debugging
- Experience with measurement partners like Adjust or routing platforms like Segment
- Understanding of SKAdNetwork, ATT, advertising identifiers, and consent
- Ability to use device logs, network inspection, and SQL for investigation
Nice to have
- Production mobile development experience on both iOS and Android
- Experience with lifecycle messaging platforms and push notifications
- Familiarity with warehouse tools like dbt or Delta Lake
- Experience with feature flags and remote configuration
- Background in regulated environments such as financial services
