Join the Pulse team at SigNoz to engineer the next generation of alerting features for a widely adopted open-source observability solution. You will focus on ensuring reliability and scalability while handling thousands of concurrent alerts, directly impacting how engineering teams monitor their applications.
What you'll do
- Build scalable and robust alerting features
- Design and implement core backend components in Go
- Create integrations with tools like JIRA and incident.io
- Ensure high reliability for thousands of running alerts
- Drive initiatives from discovery through to rollout
What you'll need
- 5–10 years of professional experience with Golang
- Deep understanding of Go concurrency, locks, and channels
- Proven track record building distributed systems
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
Nice to have
- Prior contributions to open source projects
- Experience in core teams of Series B+ startups
- Background in observability, monitoring, or logging
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and ClickHouse
- Knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystems
