You will combine visual design and engineering to build intuitive interfaces for over 100,000 weekly active users. This role requires owning projects end-to-end, from wireframing and prototyping to implementing polished UIs using the company's design system. You will collaborate closely with product engineers to enhance information hierarchy and user experience across the product.
What you'll do
- Solve challenging design problems by designing and coding features
- Expand and enhance the in-house design system components
- Consult with Product Engineers on bespoke design implementations
- Wireframe new flows and turn them into polished user interfaces
- Iterate on features based on direct customer and internal feedback
What you'll need
- Professional experience practicing both design and engineering
- Major contributions to a design system used by hundreds of users
- Excellent taste and execution in visual design
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and CSS
- Ability to ship code and iterate without heavy process oversight
Nice to have
- Proficiency with backend technologies like Node.js or GraphQL
- Experience designing products for complex enterprise workflows
- Background in improving developer tooling or abstractions
