You will combine visual design and engineering to solve challenging UX problems for over 100,000 weekly active users. This role requires building polished interfaces, enhancing the design system, and shipping code without relying on heavy processes. You will work closely with the VP of Engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
What you'll do
- Solve complex design problems by designing and implementing features end-to-end
- Expand and enhance the in-house design system with flexible components
- Consult with Product Engineers on bespoke design work and information hierarchy
- Wireframe new flows and turn them into polished UI using the design system
- Iterate on features based on user feedback and business needs
- Run projects with minimal oversight while keeping stakeholders informed
What you'll need
- Professional experience practicing both design and engineering
- Major contributions to a design system in a previous role
- Experience designing and implementing features for hundreds of users
- Excellent taste and execution in visual design
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and CSS
- Ability to ship fast and iterate rather than seeking perfection upfront
Nice to have
- Proficiency with backend technologies like Node.js or GraphQL
- Experience working with AI-powered tooling for development
- Background in building tools for talent acquisition or HR workflows
