You will combine visual design and engineering to solve challenging UX problems for over 100,000 weekly active users. This position requires building polished interfaces, enhancing the design system, and shipping code without relying on heavy process or extensive upfront research.
What you'll do
- Tackle complex design and implementation challenges for core product features
- Expand and enhance the internal design system for consistency
- Consult with product engineers on bespoke design requirements
- Wireframe new flows and turn them into polished, functional UIs
- Iterate on features based on direct user feedback and business needs
- Drive projects end-to-end from problem research to final implementation
What you'll need
- Professional experience practicing both design and engineering
- Major contributions to a design system in a previous role
- History of designing and implementing features for hundreds of users
- Excellent taste and execution skills in visual design
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and CSS
- Ability to work autonomously without rigid project management structures
Nice to have
- Proficiency with backend technologies like Node.js or GraphQL
- Experience working with data models that influence UI design
