You will join BJAK to develop AI-driven solutions that automate real workflows and enhance user experiences in their insurance and neobanking platforms. The team prioritizes shipping reliable, production-ready systems over theoretical research, aiming to simplify financial services for users across Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build AI agents and tools to solve customer and operations problems
- Apply LLMs, retrieval, and guardrails to financial workflows
- Create AI-assisted features for onboarding, support, and KYC
- Collaborate with product teams to identify and ship high-value features
- Design systems considering accuracy, latency, cost, and compliance
- Convert manual processes into scalable AI-enabled systems
What you'll need
- Hands-on engineering skills beyond strategy or management
- Experience building AI agents, LLM apps, or RAG systems
- Strong coding ability in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Judgement on when to automate versus keep manual processes
- Ability to ship working systems and improve reliability
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, banking, or fraud detection
- Background in support automation or risk management
- Knowledge of KYC, CRM, or operations automation
