You will join BJAK to develop AI-driven solutions that automate real workflows and enhance user experiences within their insurance and neobank platforms. The team prioritizes building reliable, production-ready systems over theoretical research, aiming to simplify financial services for users across Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build AI agents and tools to solve customer and operational problems
- Apply LLMs, retrieval, and guardrails to financial workflows
- Create AI-assisted features for onboarding, support, and KYC
- Collaborate with product teams to identify and ship high-value features
- Design systems considering accuracy, latency, cost, and compliance
- Convert manual processes into scalable AI-enabled systems
What you'll need
- Hands-on engineering skills beyond AI strategy or management
- Experience building AI agents, LLM apps, or RAG systems
- Strong coding ability in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Judgement on which tasks should be automated
- Ability to ship working systems and improve reliability
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, banking, or support automation
- Background in risk, KYC, fraud, or CRM operations
