What you'll do

  • Design and execute tests for backend systems, APIs, and integrations
  • Validate API functionality and performance using Postman or Swagger
  • Test database operations and data integrity in PostgreSQL
  • Review pull requests to ensure code quality and test coverage
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services
  • Identify potential reliability or performance issues in infrastructure
  • Document defects and test cases using tools like TestRail

What you'll need

  • 2-3 years of experience in backend testing or SDET roles
  • Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments
  • Experience with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL
  • Skilled in testing REST APIs with Postman or similar tools
  • Understanding of API, database, and integration testing practices
  • Ability to review backend architecture and pull requests
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
