What you'll do
- Design and execute tests for APIs, databases, and service integrations
- Validate API functionality and performance using Postman or Swagger
- Verify database operations and data integrity in PostgreSQL
- Review pull requests to ensure code quality and test coverage
- Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services
- Identify potential reliability or performance issues in infrastructure
- Document defects and test results using tools like TestRail
What you'll need
- Approximately 2–3 years of experience in backend testing or SDET roles
- Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments
- Familiarity with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL
- Experience testing REST APIs with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
- Understanding of API, database, and integration testing practices
- Ability to review pull requests and backend architecture changes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
