Join Clipbook as a founding engineer to help reinvent how leaders engage with global information. You will work with a small team of engineers from major tech companies to build features that serve over 200 clients, including government agencies and top consultancies.
The role requires end-to-end ownership of feature development, from architectural decisions to shipping code. You will integrate AI models into real-world workflows while ensuring systems remain robust and scalable during rapid growth.
What you'll do
- Architect and build core systems, owning feature development end-to-end
- Integrate LLMs and ML models into production via RAG pipelines and agentic systems
- Design scalable infrastructure that supports tenfold growth
- Develop performant APIs and internal services ensuring reliability and security
- Make key technical decisions across the stack
What you'll need
- 3+ years of experience building and scaling production systems
- Strong backend fundamentals including services, data models, and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP and Docker or Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to ship quickly
Nice to have
- Depth in Data Engineering with Spark, Kafka, Flink, or BigQuery
- Expertise in Distributed Systems, high-volume scaling, and fault tolerance
- Experience with AI/ML, specifically LLMs, embeddings, and fine-tuning
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
