Join Sierra Studio as a Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive engineering initiatives for client startups and internal AI tools. You will architect solutions, write code, and mentor team members while collaborating with product managers and designers to ship high-quality software.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering for client MVPs and internal AI workflow tools
- Architect technology stacks and write clean, maintainable code
- Collaborate with product managers and designers on feature delivery
- Mentor other engineers and help grow the technical team
- Participate in hiring processes and interview future candidates
What you'll need
- 5+ years in software engineering with project or people leadership
- Proven track record taking products from idea to production
- Strong frontend skills with TypeScript and React
- Backend proficiency in TypeScript or Python with Node.js or FastAPI
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Ability to accurately estimate project timelines and scope
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience using AI coding assistants like Cursor
- Background building products with Generative AI or LLMs
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and RAG techniques
- Portfolio of work projects, open source, or side projects
