You will take ownership of major technical components, ensuring applications are scalable, maintainable, and fast. In a lean organization, your input will shape the product's technical direction and help deliver fluid user experiences.
Partnering with Product Managers, you will co-author requirements and ensure engineering feasibility during ideation. You will also mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in React and TypeScript across the team.
What you'll do
- Architect and deliver complex, scalable frontend systems
- Partner with Product Managers to define feature scope
- Lead technical decision-making for medium-to-large features
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers via code reviews
- Identify and resolve technical debt and bottlenecks
- Drive best practices in React and web performance
- Collaborate with Data Science and Backend teams
What you'll need
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep specialization in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Proven ability to architect complex state management
- Experience designing maintainable systems
- Competence in writing unit and integration tests
- Deep understanding of web performance and browser internals
- Product owner mindset focused on user problems
Nice to have
- Experience in data visualization and analytics
- Portfolio demonstrating clean code and design
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or Angular
- Knowledge of Clickhouse, Mongo, or Postgres
- Experience with AI-driven coding tools
