Join BJAK, a leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, as a Mobile Application Developer. You will build the native Android experience for the company's AI Finance Agent, focusing on clean user flows, performance, and reliability for millions of users.
The team works globally to help people plan, save, and grow their money. You will collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex financial journeys, ensuring stable and secure mobile features for insurance, payments, and claims.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Improve app performance, crash rates, and memory usage
- Use analytics and production data to enhance the product
- Implement AI-assisted experiences where they add value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and experience shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Strong sense of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging issues
- Fast execution with high ownership and attention to quality
- Strong English communication skills
