Join BJAK, a leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, as it expands into broader financial services. You will develop the Android application for their new AI Finance Agent, focusing on clean user flows and reliable performance for insurance, payments, and investing features.
The team values fast execution and product quality, aiming to simplify complex financial journeys for users. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to ship stable, secure mobile features used by real customers.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin and modern architecture
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they add genuine value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and history of shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and Android architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- High ownership mindset with attention to product quality
- Based in the Netherlands with strong English communication skills

- Portfolio with App links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
