You will develop native Android features for BJAK's AI Finance Agent, focusing on insurance, payments, and financial management tools. The team prioritizes clean user journeys, fast performance, and reliable mobile experiences for real customers across Southeast Asia.
Working with product and design teams, you will simplify complex financial processes and integrate backend APIs. The goal is to ship high-quality features that improve how users plan, save, and grow their money.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they add genuine value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and history of shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- High ownership mindset with attention to product quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
