Join BJAK, a leading insurance and fintech platform in Southeast Asia, as they expand their services to include spending, saving, and investing tools. You will develop the Android application for their new AI Finance Agent, focusing on simplifying complex financial journeys for users.
The team values fast execution, product quality, and reliable mobile features. You will collaborate with product and design teams to ensure smooth user flows for insurance, payments, and claims while integrating backend APIs and optimizing app performance.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin and modern architecture
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and financial services
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability, security, and reliability
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and loading states
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
- Strong grasp of Android fundamentals and shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
- Ability to execute quickly with high ownership and attention to detail
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Portfolio with App links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference
