You will develop native Android features using Kotlin for BJAK's AI Finance Agent, focusing on insurance, payments, and claims. The team prioritizes clean user flows, fast performance, and reliable mobile experiences for real customers across Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability, security, and reliability
- Improve app performance, crash rates, and memory usage
- Use analytics and production data to enhance the product
- Implement AI-assisted mobile experiences where they add value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
- Strong Android fundamentals and history of shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Strong sense of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
- Ability to execute quickly with high ownership and quality focus
- Strong English communication skills required
Nice to have
- Portfolio with App links, GitHub, or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference
