Join BJAK as an Android Engineer to develop the native experience for their AI-powered Neobank application. You will collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex financial journeys, including insurance, payments, and investing, ensuring high performance and reliability for users across Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for the Neobank app
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals in shipping production-grade mobile apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- High ownership mindset with attention to product quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
