Join BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, as it expands into spending, saving, and investing. As a Mobile Engineer, you will develop the company's AI Neobank App, focusing on Android development with Kotlin. You will own the creation of intuitive mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims while ensuring high performance and stability.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin
- Create mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs for stable and secure mobile flows
- Improve app performance, crash rates, and memory usage
- Use analytics and production data to enhance the product
- Implement AI-assisted features where they add genuine value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and experience shipping production apps
- Knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Strong sense of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging issues
- Fast execution with high ownership and attention to quality
- Strong English communication skills

- Portfolio with app links, GitHub, or screenshots of shipped work
