Join a lean, bootstrapped team delivering structured search data from over 100 sources to Fortune 500 companies. You will work on high-scale infrastructure, handling billions of requests while shaping product direction and interacting directly with customers.
The position requires deep technical expertise in browser internals and concurrency. You will own features end-to-end, from reverse-engineering website protections to shipping landing pages, without detailed specs or hand-holding.
What you'll do
- Fix broken parsers and add elements to existing search engines
- Build new search engine integrations and ship them quickly
- Reverse engineer website protections and anti-bot systems
- Debug browser automation issues involving CDP and fingerprinting
- Develop landing pages and admin dashboard features
- Rotate on customer support and communicate progress to users
- Optimize concurrency using fibers, ractors, and threads
- Architect new systems and lead technical decisions
What you'll need
- Deep knowledge of HTTP, TLS, CSS selectors, and XPath
- Experience with browser automation and web scraping
- Specialist skills in CDP, anti-bot evasion, or concurrency
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- BSc or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Excellent written communication skills for remote work
- Passion for Ruby and Ruby on Rails development
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloudflare, Akamai, or DataDome evasion
- Knowledge of TLS/JA3/WebRTC fingerprinting
- Infrastructure skills with Terraform and AWS/ECS
- Experience handling billions of requests at scale
- Contributions to open source projects or technical blogs
