What you'll do
- Own backend solutions end-to-end, from requirements to production
- Design services focused on performance, scale, and data integrity
- Make technical decisions considering constraints and trade-offs
- Diagnose complex production issues and prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on durable solutions
- Review code and share knowledge to raise engineering standards
What you'll need
- Proven experience owning backend services in microservices architecture
- Strong grasp of HTTP, WebSockets, and AMQP protocols
- Production fluency in at least one modern backend framework
- Deep knowledge of relational databases and high-performance design
- Track record of designing for high availability and scalability
- Clear problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical trade-offs
