Join a fintech company reinventing trading and investing for over six million clients. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work in small, autonomous groups with short release cycles, taking full ownership of backend solutions from problem definition to production operation.
What you'll do
- Own backend solutions end-to-end, from design to production deployment
- Design services focused on performance, scale, and data integrity
- Make technical decisions by evaluating constraints and trade-offs
- Diagnose complex production issues and prevent their recurrence
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to simplify requirements
- Review code and share knowledge to raise team engineering standards
What you'll need
- Proven experience owning backend services in a microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of HTTP, WebSockets, and AMQP protocols
- Production fluency in at least one modern backend framework
- Deep knowledge of relational databases, indexing, and transactions
- Track record of designing systems for high availability and scalability
- Ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly
