Join the Platform Infrastructure Engineering team at Menlo Security, where you will enable secure internet connectivity for customers. You will work with experienced engineers to manage core infrastructure services, emphasizing security-first design and multi-region resilience using Google Kubernetes Engine and virtual machines.
What you'll do
- Deploy and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure across GCP and AWS regions
- Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform modules and Spacelift
- Implement observability solutions with Grafana Cloud, Prometheus, and OTel
- Manage certificate lifecycle, DNS automation, and service mesh networking
- Collaborate with Engineering and Security teams on capacity and architecture
- Eliminate operational toil through automation and AI-assisted coding tools
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and drive post-incident reviews
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Go scripting languages
- Strong understanding of network topologies and communication protocols
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting in production
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Knowledge of GCP services including GKE, VPC, and IAM
- Ability to use LLM-based code-assist tools for building and troubleshooting

What you get
- Base salary range $105,000 - $185,000 USD
- Eligibility for stock-based compensation grants
