Join the team behind ClickStack, an open-source platform that unifies logs, metrics, traces, and session replays for faster root cause analysis. You will build key features for this petabyte-scale observability solution, focusing on high performance and exceptional developer experience.
What you'll do
- Own and build key frontend and backend features for debugging and monitoring
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and integrate user feedback
- Optimize HyperDX and ClickStack for high-efficiency data processing
- Scale the cloud-hosted platform to support growing customer demands
- Develop analysis tools to help engineers resolve production issues
What you'll need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in dev tools
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience with Next.js for frontend and Express for backend
- Strong React.js skills for building interactive interfaces
- Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Passion for open source and the developer community
Nice to have
- Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines
- Experience working with columnar databases
- Familiarity with Python, Rust, or PHP for integrations
- Experience building SDKs for developer tooling
- Strong vision for improving observability tools
