Join the team behind ClickStack, an open-source platform that unifies logs, metrics, traces, and session replays for faster debugging. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build key features for this petabyte-scale observability solution, focusing on both frontend and backend systems to enhance the developer experience.
You will collaborate with the open-source community and customers to solve complex technical challenges. The role involves optimizing data processing efficiency and scaling the cloud-hosted platform to support a growing user base.
What you'll do
- Own and build key frontend and backend features for the observability platform
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and integrate customer feedback
- Optimize HyperDX and ClickStack for high-efficiency data processing
- Scale the cloud-hosted platform to ensure seamless performance
- Develop analysis tools to help engineers resolve production issues
What you'll need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in developer tools
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and Next.js
- Expertise in React.js for frontend development
- Proficient in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Passion for open source and engaging with the developer community
Nice to have
- Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines
- Experience working with columnar databases
- Familiarity with Python, Rust, or PHP for building integrations
- Experience developing SDKs
- Strong vision for improving observability tools
