Join Moonshot as a Senior Mobile Engineer to shape the next phase of its consumer cryptocurrency trading platform. You will own the Flutter codebase, design system, and engineering standards for an app serving over two million users.
The team values urgency and technical excellence, requiring you to solve complex problems in real-time financial data visualization and transaction reliability. You will collaborate closely with product and backend teams to deliver a seamless trading experience.
What you'll do
- Own the architecture and long-term evolution of the Flutter app across iOS and Android.
- Design and maintain a company-wide mobile design system and component library.
- Build interactive trading features including live charts, order tickets, and portfolio views.
- Optimize app performance by profiling frame rendering and managing memory usage.
- Implement automated testing suites and define release and QA processes.
- Integrate analytics, A/B testing, and feature flags in collaboration with Product.
- Partner with backend engineers on API design, error handling, and offline resilience.
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and technical design documentation.
What you'll need
- 6–10+ years of professional mobile development experience.
- 3+ years of production experience with Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift.
- Proven track record owning large-scale consumer apps end-to-end.
- Experience building or leading design systems and UI libraries.
- Strong grasp of mobile architectures, state management, and modularization.
- Solid fundamentals in testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and release management.
- Experience mentoring other engineers and collaborating across teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time data via WebSockets or streams.
- Background in growth-focused mobile work like attribution or deep links.
- Prior experience in Crypto, DeFi, trading, or high-frequency transactional apps.

How you'll work
- Full-time position.

- Travel required approximately one week per quarter.
