Join the mobile and TV platform squad at FloSports, a sports media company dedicated to live event coverage and fan engagement. You will develop native applications that deliver high-quality streaming experiences across multiple devices.
This position focuses on writing Swift and Kotlin code while collaborating with backend engineers on API contracts. You will also help establish shared patterns and reusable components to ensure cross-platform consistency.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain native iOS and Android applications for streaming
- Contribute to TV apps for Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku
- Partner with BFF engineers to define API contracts and UI patterns
- Use AI tools to accelerate personal and team productivity
- Drive architectural decisions and establish shared code patterns
- Translate business objectives into technical work with product teams
- Address technical debt impacting stability or performance
- Champion best practices for security, observability, and release quality
What you'll need
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Kotlin for production apps
- Deep understanding of native mobile architecture and best practices
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
- Familiarity with live streaming or video playback technologies
- Willingness to work across multiple platforms and learn new ones
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and backend collaboration
- Knowledge of app performance monitoring and crash reporting
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane or Bitrise
Nice to have
- Experience with server-driven UI or BFF architecture patterns
- Background in TV platform development for tvOS or Roku
- Contributions to shared component libraries or design systems
