What you'll do
- Leverage expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and GCP to advance product goals
- Lead end-to-end projects to address real customer problems
- Architect new features for performance, reliability, security, and scale
- Re-architect existing systems to meet growing scaling demands
- Design user-friendly REST API contracts for internal and external use
- Represent engineering values internally and externally
What you'll need
- Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems
- Strong knowledge of modern Cloud Native systems architecture
- Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript
- Proven track record of ownership and product delivery
- Proactive problem-solving attitude with passion for distributed systems
- Ability to communicate technical ideas and influence stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience contributing to or participating in open source projects
- Interest or experience in mentoring team members
- Background with data-rich backend applications or real-time data processing
- Enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools and technologies
