Join Attio's Engineering team to tackle complex technical challenges in real-time infrastructure and AI-native architecture. You will lead end-to-end projects, designing robust backend systems that power the company's go-to-market motion for ambitious teams.

What you'll do

  • Leverage expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and GCP to drive product development
  • Lead projects from conception to delivery to solve customer problems
  • Architect new features for performance, reliability, security, and scale
  • Re-architect existing systems to meet growing scaling demands
  • Design intuitive REST API contracts for internal and external users
  • Represent engineering values internally and within the broader community

What you'll need

  • Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems
  • Strong knowledge of modern Cloud Native systems architecture
  • Expert-level proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Proven track record of ownership and successful product delivery
  • Self-motivated approach to solving distributed systems challenges
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience contributing to or participating in open source projects
  • Interest or experience in mentoring other team members
  • Background with data-rich backend applications or real-time data processing
  • Passion for experimenting with new tools, ideas, and technologies
