The Deployed Engineering team partners with companies to turn AI prototypes into reliable production systems. You will co-design agent architectures and guide customers through the full lifecycle, from evaluation to operation at scale.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering and go-to-market, feeding real-world insights back into the LangChain platform while ensuring technical wins for clients.
What you'll do
- Co-architect and build production AI agents with customer teams
- Drive technical wins in pre-sales via POCs and deep technical guidance
- Assist customers in deploying and operating agent-based applications
- Advise on architecture, best practices, and roadmap decisions post-sale
- Conduct technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developers
- Create reusable patterns and code examples based on field feedback
- Contribute upstream code when it improves customer outcomes
What you'll need
- 3+ years in software, customer, or solutions engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and systems fundamentals
- Experience designing LLM-powered apps with multi-step workflows
- Comfortable leading POCs, architecture reviews, and evaluations
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to developer audiences
- Focus on delivering outcomes rather than just providing recommendations
- Self-starter with a bias toward action and problem-solving
Nice to have
- Production experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Background in LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, and Kubernetes
- Experience shipping and operating production software under constraints
