The Deployed Engineering team partners with companies to turn AI agent prototypes into reliable production systems. You will work directly with customer engineers throughout the lifecycle, from pre-sales proof of concepts to post-deployment advisory.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market. You will shape how LangChain is adopted in the field while feeding real-world insights back into the platform to improve tools for all users.
What you'll do
- Co-architect and build production AI agents with customer teams
- Lead technical wins by designing proofs of concept and guiding evaluations
- Help customers deploy and operate conversational and research agents
- Advise clients on architecture, best practices, and roadmap decisions
- Conduct technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developers
- Create reusable patterns and code examples based on field feedback
- Contribute upstream code when it improves customer outcomes
What you'll need
- 3+ years in software, customer, or solutions engineering roles
- Strong fundamentals in Python, JavaScript, and systems design
- Experience designing LLM apps with multi-step workflows and orchestration
- Comfortable working directly with customers on technical evaluations
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to developer audiences
- Takes ownership of outcomes rather than just providing recommendations
- Excited about operating AI agents in production environments
Nice to have
- Deployed AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, and Kubernetes
- Track record of shipping and operating production software
