Join BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, as it expands into spending, saving, and investing services. As a Mobile Engineer, you will help build the company's AI Neobank App, focusing on creating intuitive flows for financial services.
You will work with cross-functional teams to turn complex user journeys into usable mobile products. The ideal candidate is a strong builder who cares about UX, performance, and shipping high-quality code without heavy supervision.
What you'll do
- Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS platforms
- Create simple flows for insurance, payments, claims, and renewals
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
- Integrate APIs and handle edge cases, errors, and loading states
- Improve app performance, reliability, and crash rates
- Support fast product launches and iterations across mobile journeys
- Help set high standards for mobile product quality
What you'll need
- 3+ years of mobile development experience in Android, iOS, or both
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift
- Experience shipping production apps used by real users
- Strong product sense and attention to mobile UX details
- Ability to work with APIs, analytics, and crash logs
- Comfortable owning work with limited handholding
- Strong English communication skills

- Portfolio links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience working in high-growth environments
- Ability to work across ambiguity without perfect specs
