Join BJAK as a Mobile Engineer to develop their AI-powered Neobank application. You will build clean, reliable mobile experiences for insurance, payments, and financial services across Android and iOS platforms.
The team focuses on turning complex financial journeys into simple, usable mobile products. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship high-quality features and improve overall app reliability.
What you'll do
- Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS platforms
- Create simple flows for insurance, payments, claims, and renewals
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
- Integrate APIs and handle edge cases, errors, and loading states
- Improve app performance, reliability, and crash rates
- Support fast product launches and experiments across mobile journeys
- Set high standards for mobile product quality within the app
What you'll need
- 3+ years of mobile development experience in Android, iOS, or both
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift
- Experience shipping production apps used by real users
- Strong product sense and attention to mobile user experience
- Ability to work with APIs, analytics, and crash logs
- Comfortable owning work with limited handholding
- Strong English communication skills required
Nice to have
- Portfolio with app links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience working in ambiguous environments without perfect specs
- Ability to explain personal contributions versus team efforts clearly
