Shape the frontend architecture and engineering direction for a platform serving millions of clients. You will work closely with code to solve complex system problems, improve developer tooling, and enhance shared libraries across web and mobile applications.
What you'll do
- Set frontend architecture direction for React and React Native
- Solve cross-team issues in platform capabilities and shared libraries
- Lead decisions on state management, performance, and testing strategies
- Diagnose and fix systemic rendering and bundle size problems
- Remain hands-on with coding for prototyping and investigation
- Mentor senior engineers and improve code review quality
- Partner with product and backend teams on cross-boundary risks
What you'll need
- Proven architectural impact across multiple frontend teams
- Deep experience with complex production systems in React or React Native
- Strong judgement in application boundaries and state management
- Track record of improving developer effectiveness and reliability
- Experience diagnosing performance issues in web or mobile systems
- Ability to influence technical direction through execution and evidence
- Clear communication skills for complex technical decisions
