As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will drive architectural direction and solve complex platform problems while staying hands-on with code. What you'll do
- Set frontend architecture direction across web and mobile platforms
- Solve cross-team issues in shared libraries and developer tooling
- Lead decisions on state management, performance and testing strategies
- Diagnose and fix systemic rendering and bundle size problems
- Remain hands-on with implementation and prototyping when needed
- Mentor senior engineers and improve code review quality
- Partner with product and backend teams on cross-boundary risks
What you'll need
- Proven architectural impact across multiple frontend teams
- Deep experience with production systems in React or React Native
- Strong TypeScript skills and state management expertise
- Track record of improving developer effectiveness and reliability
- Experience diagnosing performance issues in web or mobile apps
- Ability to influence technical direction through evidence and clarity
- Strong communication skills for complex technical decisions
