Planera is transforming construction scheduling through its SaaS platform. As a Staff Product Designer, you will define and deliver the mobile experience, translating complex field workflows into intuitive interfaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy and design excellence.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end mobile app design from concept to launch
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear design directions
- Partner with product and engineering on roadmap priorities
- Advocate for field-based users through research and feedback
- Drive excellence in interaction design and accessibility
- Contribute to product strategy and business outcomes
- Evolving the design system for mobile consistency
- Mentor designers without formal management duties
What you'll need
- 7+ years of product design experience
- Significant ownership of iOS, Android, or cross-platform apps
- Portfolio showing end-to-end product ownership
- Experience operating at a senior-level scope
- Deep understanding of mobile UX patterns
- Strong systems thinking and scalability focus
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Comfort working in ambiguity and setting direction
Nice to have
- Experience with workflow-heavy or B2B products
- Background in construction, logistics, or scheduling
