You will take ownership of the React Native applications that power Curri's logistics operations, focusing on driver-facing quality and feature velocity. Working closely with Product and Design, you will translate fuzzy problem statements into shipped features that directly impact drivers and operational metrics.
The role requires end-to-end responsibility for large features, from defining the problem to measuring post-launch success. You will collaborate directly with the users you build for, ensuring the mobile experience holds up in field conditions with unreliable connectivity.
What you'll do
- Own driver-facing features from problem definition through shipping and metric analysis
- Build and maintain the React Native driver app for iOS and Android platforms
- Implement offline-first functionality, background geolocation, and push notifications
- Write native iOS and Android code for location tracking and performance optimization
- Collaborate directly with drivers and ops teams to identify and fix experience breakdowns
- Diagnose and resolve production issues to ensure app stability in the field
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production mobile apps on iOS and Android
- Deep expertise in React Native with strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Working knowledge of native iOS and Android development for debugging modules
- Strong UI sensibility with ability to turn fuzzy specs into pixel-perfect implementations
- Product-minded approach to defining problems and following metrics after shipping
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and enthusiasm for their use
Nice to have
- Experience building for marketplace, gig economy, or logistics platforms
- Track record of owning several large features end-to-end at one company
- Full-stack capabilities to follow mobile features into the backend when needed
- Experience instrumenting mobile apps for measurable post-launch impact
